Who We Are

A Community Built on Two Wheels

The Flagstaff Yeti MTB Team is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt nonprofit organization founded in Flagstaff, Arizona. We serve young riders ages 10–18 who want to develop mountain biking skills, build confidence, and connect with a supportive outdoor community.

Our team operates at the intersection of youth development, outdoor recreation, and community service. We believe mountain biking teaches resilience, teamwork, and respect for public lands — lessons that extend far beyond the trail.

Inclusion

We welcome riders of all backgrounds and skill levels. Financial barriers should never keep a child off the trail — our scholarship program ensures access for every family who needs it.

Safety First

Certified coaches, proper equipment checks, and progressive skill curricula keep our riders safe while they push their limits and grow.

Stewardship

We ride on public lands with gratitude and responsibility. Trail maintenance days teach riders to care for the places they love.

Our History

From Local Club to Registered Nonprofit

The Flagstaff Yeti MTB Team received federal tax-exempt status under IRC Section 501(c)(3) effective August 8, 2019, recognized as a public charity under Section 509(a)(2).

What began as a small group of passionate coaches and parents has grown into a structured youth development program serving dozens of riders each season across Flagstaff's renowned trail network.
